​February 2020 Astrology - Energy Update

February first until February 19th, The Sun is in the Humanitarian, Freedom and friendship loving Air(Social and Mental) /sign of Aquarius.
February 3rd, Mercury moves into the Empathic, Spiritual, Selfless Water (Emotional, intuitive) Sign of Pisces, where it will be until March 111th.  Mercury is the Messenger and it will slow down and go retrograde in this very dreamy and flowing sign on February 16th.
This retrograde period lasts until March 29th when Mercury will be completely back to normal at 13 degrees of Pisces where it retrogrades. This marks a period of confusion , and is best used for spiritual purposes, not for moving forward in new important practical directions. Mercury will go direct on March 10th at 28 degrees of Aquarius, where we can reevaluate our relationships in the community or with friends or our visons for a better future for humanity, which was initially evaluated on February 2nd.
In other words, whatever you are dealing with around February 2- 9th , is what you will be revisiting and reevaluating after Mercury goes direct again in March. Again, Mercury retrograde this month in Pisces is good for compassionate, spiritual, meditative and creative focus. Not the time to make big or important purchases, or to travel far, unless in order to attain spiritual growth!
February 7th, Venus, the planet of our values and relationships, moves into the First Fire (action oriented) sign of Aries, helping us to take action on behalf of our individual relationship needs. Time to be physically active and be proactive in relationships.
February 8th/9th-We have a Full Moon in Leo at 2:00 a.m. Eastern time, marking a good time for fun , creativity, love , and socializing! Time to play with others!
February 16th-Mercury goes retrograde in Pisces at 12/13 degrees of dreamy , selfless Pisces.
Mars, the planet of action and drive, enters the Ambitious Earth (Practical, work oriented) sign of Capricorn. Helping us to get back down to Earth and to work on our responsibilities  and where you are going long term career wise .Mars will be in this ambitious sign until March 31st.
February 19th-The Sun enters the dreamy, escapist Water(emotional, caring, intuitive) sign of Pisces.
The Sun stays in this sign for 30 days or so, helping us to focus on what we feel, and where we can be more compassionate, forgiving, maybe more spiritual and caring for those less fortunate. Pisces is also very dreamy and romantic, as well as the ruler of our dreams. Pisces rules dreams, music and creativity, escapist activities, meditation, selflessness, compassion, etc.
February 20th-Jupiter, the largest planet that rules growth and positivity, now in Business oriented Capricorn, makes a harmonious sextile to Neptune, the planet of Spirituality/the ruling planet of Pisces.
This emphasizes the Pisces and Capricorn energies at play now, helping us to make our dreams reality, or our reality dreamlike! Use your talents now to bring the light and love now available to your and our world!
February 21st-Mars in Capricorn makes a harmonious trine to Uranus, the planet of unique and new actions, in Sensual Taurus. Good day for new business activities or new ways to run our businesses, or new ways to make money. Something new and different on a practical or sensual level is highlighted now.
February 22nd- The Sun in Water sign Pisces. Makes a harmonious sextile to Uranus ,the planet of newness in Earthy sensual Taurus.Again a good day for enjoying the sensual pleasures of life! Make sure you have good clear boundaries with whatever you are doing now . Pisces needs clear boundaries, which Taurus helps provide. Pisces brings the meditation, the music, the compassion. Taurus says in like to stay grounded in what appeals to her senses now.
February 23rd-Today is another very magical, dreamy and spiritual day with the New Moon in Pisces.
We all need to take time to breath, meditate, pray, do yoga, do something that inspires you ! Music and dance, any creative and meditative and compassionate activity is highlighted now.
The New Moon is a good time to reflect and put your intentions on what you want in the coming weeks.
Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac , representing the end of a cycle, the end of our astrological year, the end of our Karma. Time to give thanks for our blessings.
February 23rd-Today Venus, the planet of love and our values, in independent and aggressive Aries now , makes a square (challenging) to Jupiter, the planet of expansion and growth, in practical earth sign Capricorn. We may feel challenged to do more or be with more people who may not share our same beliefs, but to include them anyway. Find a way to see the common ground , our universality rather than the differences. Aries can be arrogant and selfish. Watch out for that tendency. Luckily, with all this sweet Pisces energy , we can be compassionate and forgiving and more accepting of others as well as ourselves.
February 24th-The Sun in Pisces makes a harmonious sextile to Mars , the planet of action, in Practical Capricorn. Good day for action that is beneficial to us and others. Using our compassion to improve situations.
February 25th-Mardi Gras day!
The Sun in Pisces is conjunct (in the same degree, same sign) Mercury, the planet of communication, travel, and the mind. With Mercury retrograde, be patient now, as communications can be confusing and misleading!
February 26th-Mercury retrograde in Pisces now , makes a harmonious sextile to Mars in practical Capricorn. This is still a challenging time with getting clarity in practical affairs, but this positive transit will help us to communicate a bit better . Time to clarify our own minds.Good for travel locally.
February 28th-Venus in Aries, makes a tense square to Pluto, the planet of control, power, and deep transformation, in Capricorn, the sign of Business. You may feel power plays today with those in authority.
Good day to reevaluate your relationships in regards to power and how to feel more empowered in your day to day life. Be careful for those that are not having your best interests at heart. Time to take a lot of deep breaths, as feelings may be rising quickly now with Venus in Aries.
February 28th-Mercury, still retrograde in Pisces, makes a harmonious sextile to Uranus , the planet of freedom and newness, in Taurus. Time to get an Astrology reading, as Uranus rules astrology! Today is good for learning about new subjects , or revisiting subjects from early February. Time to be  more flexible with time frames, as we all need to be all month with this Mercury retrograde in Pisces. Next month, Mercury goes direct March 9th!
