Astrology for the week of Spring Equinox - March 20th, 2016 , the Lunar Eclipse of March 23, and the week of March 20th -March 26

The Spring Equinox on March 20, brings in the active, new beginnings of the first Fire sign of the zodiac, Aries. We all are feeling the need to start over, begin new endeavors of all kinds, and to be physically active as well. Aries is the sign of the impulsive, action oriented Self. Acting from pure instinct without thought. Aries needs to express its individuality. The month of Aries lasts until April 19.

The Lunar Eclipse on Wednesday, March 23, brings awareness of what we need to do to balance our individual needs,(The Sun in Aries), with our important Relationships(the Moon in Libra). Eclipses show us what needs to be eliminated  as well as what doors are opening now, in order for us to be aligned with our best/divine selves.

The full Moon comes with challenging/activating Square between Jupiter, the planet of growth, and success, which is now moving backwards(retrograde), and the planet of work, Saturn, in the fire sign of Sagittarius.
This makes us focus on areas which we are most not only working to improve and expand on(Jupiter in Virgo), but to clarify what areas are most worth focusing on. This could bring both limitations, as well as successes , depending on how this astrological aspect affects ones
astrology chart. We also have a conjunction(two planets in the same sign at the same degree), of the Sun in active Aries with the planet of communication, Mercury , now in the same sign.
This can make us very quick with our thoughts and words. This is a very impulsive, impatient aspect, so strive to be conscious in words, and actions. March 24, Thursday brings another day of great action with our thoughts and words and movement, with a harmonious trine between Mercury in Aries and Mars in Sagittarius.
Friday ,March 25, bring 3 very important Astrological happenings:
Saturn, the planet of work and laws, in the Fire sign of Sagittarius, stops and goes retrograde until mid August . This makes us stop and slow down in regards to our work priorities.
This can affect the following areas:
travel, international affairs, publishing, education, philosophy, and religion, as well as business marketing and networking.
Sagittarius likes to stay positive and with the retrograde, we will need to rethink and revisit the areas and ways we do that. We also have the planet of love, Venus, in the compassionate, selfless water sign of Pisces making a tense/challenging square to Saturn.
This makes this a time of working hard to find a balance  with our deepest emotional, spiritual selves/needs/aspirations, with the truth in our relationships. We also have a strong Astrological opposition between Venus in Pisces, and Jupiter in Virgo. This will bring many opportunities to expand our selfless self and bring much growth and healing to relationships. Both Virgo and Pisces rule selflessness and giving.
With such opposite influences, one might feel like you are  going crazy!  Luckily, on Saturday, March 26, the Sun in Aries makes a harmonious trine to Mars in Sagittarius, bringing us the energy to act in positive ways. The same day brings positive , deep energies for love and relationships, with a harmonious aspect between Venus in Pisces and Pluto, the planet of transformation in Capricorn.
