June 2020 Astrology - Energy Update

June starts with the Sun in the curious Air sign(Social, Intellectual) of Gemini , the twins.Gemini represents duality , variety and curiosity, as well as conversation, communication and the Mind. It also represents our neighborhoods, our locality, our neighbors and siblings. This month has Venus, the planet of love, moving backwards now,( retrograde) in Gemini, helping us to reassess our love relationships, and values, as well as our needs in relationships. Venus will be back to normal by the first of August at the end of her stay in Gemini. So this retrograde period of Venus, is slowing us down to really focus on our true values and needs to communicate (Gemini) with the people in our lives .

June 2nd
Venus in Gemini, makes a challenging square to Mars, the planet of action/masculinity, drive , in dreamy, water sign Pisces. This creates some tension in our relationships, as Venus is the Feminine energy of love, beauty, pleasure, in Sociable Gemini, and Mars , the Masculine planet in a feminine sign of Pisces. The need for conversation versus escaping reality will be in play now. Find a healthy balance now between your needs for socializing, and your need to be creative, spiritual, and to escape the everyday life. This could be a good or bad time for relationships or creative expression, depending on how you handle the tension.

June 3rd
The Sun in Gemini, conjuncts the planet of love, Venus, also in Gemini. Relationships of all kinds are highlighted now, especially the ones we can have a good conversation with! Good day to enjoy your neighborhoods.

June 5th
Mercury, the planet of the mind, now in the emotional water sign of Cancer , the Crab/Homebody makes a harmonious sextile to Uranus, the planet of newness/freedom and innovation, in money oriented Taurus. Good day to take care of your home and finances, and communicate more freely. Uranus also rules Astrology, so also a good day to get an Astrology reading! We also have a Lunar Eclipse/Full Moon in Sagitarrius. This helps us to have some clarity now on  and what is true, as Sagitarrius seeks the truth . Good time for a reading!

June 6th
The Sun in Gemini makes a tense square to Mars in Watery, spiritual/dreamy Pisces. We have many interests and want to do it all, but  we may have to make more time to slow down and meditate and breath to tap into what we need to do the most. Watch out for people being irrational, escapist, confused, angry . Good time to meditate before embarking on your goals. Take lots of deep breaths today. Watch out for being too scattered.

June 11th
Today is another dreamy day with the Sun in Gemini making a tense square to Neptune, the planet of spirituality, selflessness, escape. We may be feeling tires, or inspired. But be very careful with what you do, as it may not be realistic. Keep your feet on the ground. Watch out for addictive behaviours or martyrdom, which Neptune/Pisces energies can bring out. Avoid drugs, and alcohol. Better use of these challenging energies is selfless service, listening or playing music, dance, doing spiritual practice, chanting, etc. Can be confusing.

June 13th
Mars, the Masculine planet of drive and action, in escapist water sign Pisces, makes a conjunction to Neptune , the planet that rules Pisces  today. The ultimate day for dreaming, escape, spirituality, selfless service, being kind and compassionate is called for. Avoid drugs, alcohol, all escapist behaviour. Better to meditate, listen or play music, dance, the arts, etc. May feel tired, or inspired. A good time to feel at one with love  and all the good vibrations available to us from the Cosmos now. Avoid confusing situations and relationships. Empaths especially will be more sensitive today and need lots of time to themselves to reflect  and clear  their auras out . Get out in Nature if you can to stay grounded as this is about the spaciest transit you can ask for.

The Sun is inconjunct Pluto, making us have to adjust our ideas to reality. Our Feelings are still recovering from the spaciness of yesterday.

The Sun in Gemini is inconjuncting Jupiter in Capricorn, making for another day of adjustments in the world of responsibilities and achievement.

Today Mercury, the planet of communication, in Cancer, the emotional Water sign , goes retrograde. Time to slow down and be very in tune with your thoughts and emotions and to see how they affect each other. Conversations about home, family , food, feelings are called for.

Today Mars, in Pisces still , makes a harmonious sextile to Pluto, the planet of deep focus and change, in earth sign Capricorn. This helps us achieve goals between the Water and Earth elements. Both emotional and practical.

Today Mars, in Pisces, makes a harmonious sextile to Jupiter , the planet of success and growth , in Capricorn. This helps us to make improvements both spiritually and practically. Bridging the worlds of consciousness and business.

Today the Sun enters the Water sign of Cancer, the homebody , marking the Summer Equinox, the longest day in the northern hemisphere. Today we are going to focus more on our homes, families, food, and feelings for the next month.

Today we have a Solar Eclipse/New Moon in Cancer, the sign of the Crab. The Sign of Cancer, is a Cardinal  Water sign. Cardinal signs like to initiate activities, and Cancer/The Moon child, ( The Moon rules this sign), likes to take action on anything to do with home, family, security and feelings. It is a feminine sign and is very nurturing and protective towards those they care about. This New Moon at Zero degrees Cancer rules a time of letting go of everything we ever thought we knew about homes, and security and to be willing to be courageous in regards to finding the right solutions to our home lives, our emotional securities. Zero degrees also correlates to the Tarot card, The Fool, who is willing to take risks and trust the Universe . Now is a time for new intentions regarding our homes, our sense of belonging(family), security and feelings.

June 23rd
Today Neptune, the planet of spirituality and inspiration, in Pisces, goes retrograde. Time to reevaluate what inspires us, or deludes us.

June 25th
Venus goes direct today in Gemini , the twins.  Now we can slowly over the next couple months, regroup and reestablish our love and financial lives, as well as our values, our artistic selves. Our love lives are calling our attention now. What do you value now? What do you love? How do you want to communicate that?

June 27th
Mars, the planet of action, moves into its natural home sign of Aries, the Ram. We are all feeling more impulsive now for the next couple months, and may be more likely to be action oriented on our own behalf. More in need of exercise. People can become more selfish and arrogant too. Be careful to stay breathing, kind, patient. Aries likes to start new things and to be first. Likes to do things on their own.

June 28th
Mars makes a harmonious sextile to Saturn, the planet of responsibility today in community oriented Air sign of Aquarius.  Time to take responsibility for our actions in tandem with society, and friends.

The Sun in Cancer conjuncts Mercury making us a bit more emotional in our thinking; Mercury , in Cancer, also sextiles Uranus in Taurus today, helping us to  communicate more with others about our homes and properties, and finances. Food and feelings are topics too today.
